The Little Laptop Shop has been in the heart of Manhattan's Lower East Side since 2003. Our philosophy is that keeping things simple helps you get the most out of your computer. If you shop wisely and do proper maintenance, your technology can last a long time without becoming outdated in the next model year. No matter what you know (or don't know) about technology, we are happy to work with you. We understand that even though most people don't speak "techie," they need to work with computers. We make computer technology understandable and approachable.
We have offered a $39 diagnostic since The Little Laptop Shop opened. It works as follows: Bring in a computer and we will check it out. If your computer requires a more extensive repair, we will let you know what your options are and apply the $39 toward any repair you choose to pursue. Our customers come to us - and return to us - from all over the greater New York area and beyond because we offer straightforward service and solutions at fair prices.
David Bensinger is the owner/operator of The Little Laptop Shop. David started his career in academia, earning a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester's Center for Visual Science, trying to understand how people process information. He applied that study to the field of Information Technology, by helping people interact with computers in the real world. Prior to taking over the shop, David was an IT consultant to some of the largest corporations in the world.
Stop by the shop any time to ask a question or check out our quality laptops and accessories.
